British Standard locks: Some insurers insist on BS kitemarked cylinders or mortice locks being fitted to the property as part of their cover agreement. If you have stated that you have BS locks fitted when you don’t, then subsequently get burgled your insurer may refuse to pay out. Even if your insurance does not specify BS locks, they are are worth considering for the extra security and peace of mind they can provide.
We can supply and fit the latest high security British Standard locks including 5 lever BS3621 (mortice locks) and BS TS007 (cylinders).

There has been a spike in burglaries in the Forest of Dean in February, especially of seemingly empty properties. Always try to leave a light on and take steps to make the house look occupied. Never leave car keys in view of the letterbox. With ‘smart’ keys, leave them at the furthest end of the house from the car.
